            Staying at home became an act of prosocial behavior demonstrating
            empathy and concern for others.  These  values may seem old-
            fashioned, but the pandemic has caused a significant shift in
            Perspective. Current studies indicate that this is healthy. Prosocial

            behaviors, including having a prosocial mindset, have been shown
            to  yield “increases in happiness and decreases in stress and
            loneliness.” according to  Dr. Jamil Zaki, Stanford. They also bring
            about “social connection, solidarity, and shared resilience.”
