 SOMEDAY, THIS TIME

 MIGHT BE CONSIDERED

 AS TRANSFORMATIONAL
 AS THE LATE 1960S. IF

 RIGHT NOW IS INDEED

 A REVOLUTION, THAT

 MEANS, QUITE SIMPLY,
 WE CAN’T JUST GO BACK

 TO THE WAY THINGS

 WERE.

Staying at home became an act of prosocial behavior demonstrating
empathy and concern for others. These values may seem old-
fashioned, but the pandemic has caused a significant shift in
Perspective. Current studies indicate that this is healthy. Prosocial

behaviors, including having a prosocial mindset, have been shown
to yield “increases in happiness and decreases in stress and
loneliness.” according to Dr. Jamil Zaki, Stanford. They also bring
about “social connection, solidarity, and shared resilience.”

PERSPECTIVE Gratitude is another common discovery. “The pandemic taught me to be grateful for what we
have and appreciate others more, especially those who do not have a choice to work as well

BASE COAT AND A TRANSPARENT friends, and health are your top priorities.” This re-ordering of priorities was evident: (41%)
BLUE MID-COAT said they discovered “the things in life that really matter to me.” Almost one-third (31%) of
Americans said they learned “Who I could count on and trust”. Harris Poll.
